Beacon Pro

Beacon Pro was a complete redesign of an existing product, Beacon, at Stackline. As the React frontend lead, I managed a team of two engineers, leading the effort to modernize and standardize the UI. I developed a component library using Material UI, creating a unified system for typography, color, and spacing, ensuring a consistent and scalable design. My focus was on building high-quality, reusable components that streamlined development across the entire app.

In addition to the UI overhaul, I introduced key features such as forecasting tools to help brands predict future sales, traffic, and performance. I integrated React Highcharts to standardize visualizations across the platform, supporting bar, line, donut graphs, and data tables, while implementing React hooks to simplify graph generation. I also introduced React Query to cache API requests, improving page load speeds by up to 70%.

Beyond my technical contributions, I was responsible for reviewing and maintaining high coding standards across the team. I developed flexible query classes to interact with our Elasticsearch-based backend, ensuring we could easily handle any data visualization requirements.
